Takedown

How to Takedown & Pack Your Prairie Flower Wall

Please allow 10–15 minutes for tear-down. Two people are recommended.

Step 1: Remove Any Add-Ons

  • Carefully remove any signage, balloons, or décor added to the wall.
  • Avoid pulling, pinning, or tugging directly on florals when removing attachments.

Step 2: Untie the Wall

  • Starting at the bottom and working your way up, untie all ties securing the wall to the upright stands.
  • If weights or stakes were used, remove them at this time.

Step 3: Unzip or Separate the Panels

  • While the wall is still upright, fully unzip all panel connections from top to bottom.
  • (If your wall uses Velcro or seam ties instead of zippers, fully separate them.)
  • This step makes lowering and packing much easier.

Step 4: Lower the Upright Stands

  • With one person standing on either side, begin lowering the upright stands gradually until the wall is fully lowered.
  • Continue lowering the stands until the crossbar is at a comfortable reach.
  • Once fully lowered, each person should hold one end of the crossbar.

Step 5: Remove the Crossbar

  • Carefully lift just enough to release the hooks from the upright stands.
  • Slide the crossbar out of the rod pocket (the sewn sleeve at the top of the panel).
  • Place the crossbar with the stand components.

Step 6: Roll the Panels

  • Lay each panel flat with the flower side facing up. Starting at the bottom edge, gently roll toward the rod pocket (top edge) so the florals remain protected inside the roll.
  • Roll carefully. Do not compress or force the florals.
  • Panels must be returned dry and free of debris.

Step 7: Secure and Pack

  • Use the provided straps or ties to secure each rolled panel.
  • Place all panels, crossbars, upright stands, base plates, weights/stakes, and accessories back into their designated bags or containers.
  • Double-check that all components are included before transport.

Final Check Before Return

  • All panels rolled and secured
  • All stands, crossbars, bases, weights/stakes, and ties included
  • Florals free from damage and debris
  • Wall fully dry
